Phil Lesh's 75th birthday @ Capitol Theatre (Sun 3/15/15)
The founding member of the Grateful Dead turned 75 just months in advance of the Fare Thee Well celebration planned for Chicago this Summer.
He brought "THe Quintete" version of Phil & Friends to the Capitol Theatre in Port CHester, NY to celebrate the event. But wiht Jimmy Herring out on the road touring with Widespread Panic, Eric Krasno of Soulive & Lettuce fame took over the second guitar slot alongside Warren Haynes
The show opened with Phil holding his first grandchild, Levon while singing an unplanned Ripple. And it ended with cake!
